Have you ever met a person and clicked from the moment you met them? When you share so much in common that you think to yourself, “holy shit! Were we best friends in a past life?” That’s what Julie was to me. We were kindred spirits.
Our paths crossed late last year when I was in need of a make-up artist for my 10th dating anniversary with my husband. I was referred to Julie and when I asked to see some of her work I came across a picture of her and David on her IG feed that I instantly connected with. It was a photo of the pair of them making fat-face (it’s when you squish your chin down to give yourself multiple chins!) I laughed so hard and I thought to myself, “ this is the girl for me!” I actually didn’t reveal this tid-bit to them until the day of her wedding and I got the best reaction. (See the end of this post for a surprise photo!)
Julie and David are some of the sweetest, FUNNIEST, most generous people I have ever met. I seriously cannot think of enough nice adjectives to describe them. The aura they each possess just welcomes you in like a batch of just-baked cookies. These two love birds are absolutely adorable and I am so glad they finally tied the knot after a very long engagement! Five years long to be precise!
Juveed, thank you both so much for letting me be a part of your day…I felt so honored and tremendously lucky to have witnessed the union of your love.
Julie had two bouquets made that day. One from her best friend (who happens to be an insanely talented florist!) and the second from David, handpicked and made by him that morning. Men, take notes!
